Stress-Free Working

If you are like most Americans, you are spending many hours of your week at work. The way you feel and operate at the office is not something to take lightly.

Most workplaces have breaks already installed into a full work day. Know how long you have and plan them strategically to properly break up your day. Have something ready to take your mind off of work that you enjoy- a book or maybe running a pleasant errand. Some people take their break at their desk, but why not get moving, get out, and get some fresh air?

When as many people as there are typically put together in an office setting, it is likely that interpersonal problems will arise. Remove yourself from office gossip and be a positive addition to your workplace.

Sometimes, work can lead you to a moment when it all feels like too much. If you don't have a scheduled break to take, take a moment, a few deep breaths, and maybe take a mini-walk around the floor if you can.

Keep water nearby. It's easy to get your recommended 8 ounces if you always have it around, and it will make a significant impact on your health and help you think clearly if you are getting plenty of water.
